If you are having issues with OUP, make sure that they have your accounts in order. We’ve previously had an issue where OUP had, for unknown reasons, created multiple accounts for our institution’s subscriptions. That was causing downstream access problems for our patrons. We worked with them to correct it last year, but it has happened again – so even if you’ve straightened this problem out in the past at your institution, you might want to have a second look at it.

Hello,

We have the current stanza for OED but are still encountering the same issue. The first time we access the new site in a browser session, the url doesn't contain our proxy url but we're able to search and view all of the tabs for a word. The second time in the same browser session the url contains our proxy but we can't view the tabs for a word.

We have an open ticket with Oxford and I'm wondering if anyone is currently having this issue.

Hi All

If you haven't already, please file a case with Oxford letting them know if you are not able to access the site when off campus and using various authentication methods such as EZProxy.  I did this yesterday and received a reply that their support team is working on a solution.

You may be able to access the new platform off campus the first time you try but if you try again and again, you may find that you hit a paywall and aren't able to access all features.

I believe when it's clicked on it will go into detail about your active subscription. We appear to have full access, BUT I find it really confusing that at the very center of the landing page is the following:

Because I know that we have a subscription, I just went ahead and tried out a word etc and proceeded, but I think this will throw most users.
Are others also seeing this right splat in the middle of the Webpage?
OUP: Can this be made NOT to show when one already has an active/current subscription?

Cornell University Library has partial access to the new platform.  Right now, the word search works fine, but clicking on the other tabs (meaning, etymology, pronunciation, etc) points to a login screen.  Can I assume the lack of access is part of the 48-hour transition?
