Electronic Resource Services Manager
The California Digital Library (CDL) at the University of California is recruiting for an Electronic Resource Services Manager to join its highly collaborative Shared Collections Program. The Electronic Resource Services Manager plays a vital role in CDL's mission to provide UC students, faculty, and researchers with broad access to an enriching and valuable collection of ebooks, journals, databases, streaming video, and other electronic content. Responsibilities include ensuring that UC's shared electronic collections are maintained and utilized by authorized users of those resources; providing technical support to the CDL Help Desk and related services such as link resolution and resource sharing; managing the Resource Liaison Program, and working on special projects as assigned.
The California Digital Library is a unit within the University of California Office of the President, has a staff of 70+ and is located in downtown Oakland. Applicants from outside the Bay Area who wish to work remotely will be considered.

Open Access Data Analyst
The California Digital Library (CDL) at the University of California is recruiting for an Open Access Data Analyst to join a highly team-based environment within the California Digital Library's Shared Collections Program. The Open Access Data Analyst will contribute to the transition to open access publishing by engaging in complex data analysis projects, gathering data from a variety of sources and synthesizing it into outputs offering insights and predictive models to help guide strategy and inform discussions with publishers. The position supports work both within the UC system and with other partner institutions, creating reports and visualizations which can communicate results to technical and nontechnical stakeholders throughout the library and university administration. A successful candidate will possess the ability to embed data analysis into the transformative agreement negotiation and implementation processes, producing meaningful results to guide strategy and constantly iterating based on feedback and changing priorities to be responsive and sensitive to a dynamic environment.
