[Eril-l] ProQuest "simplification program"?

Hi Christine and others,
Amen! I think many companies have no idea of the cascading effects of all
their title/collection changes on e-resources and acquisitions staff. It
took hours of my time to weed through the changes in the SciTech/Social
Sciences Premium Collection and make accompanying changes in our LMS/PO
lines. And if you are an Alma library, we have had to micro-manage many
of the collections we have activated from the Alma Community Zone KB
because ProQuest is including titles with abstract-only access in full-text
collections (like their SciTech Premium Collection), which confuses our
patrons. And Alma is a ProQuest company!
