[Eril-l] Chrome & ProQuest -- intermittent problem

We are having an issue with ProQuest and Chrome and I hope there is a more systems oriented person who can give some insight.  This affects some Chrome users, but not all. In Chrome, if a user tries to open ProQuest (any ProQuest database), they get an invalid URL as shown in the attached image. In an incognito window of Chrome, there is no problem. I've encountered this problem myself -- I've tried logging out of my Chrome account, restarting my computer, shutting down and restarting and clearing my cache to no avail.

I do not see any difference in the URL, but may be missing something.
This does not seem to affect Firefox. I am also not seeing this problem with other databases.
