Replace //^pwww.sciencedirect.com^/

As an FYI, Elsevier did respond that there was a problem with the 504 error, but they thought they fixed it. Not at our end though.



Thanks for the responses!  We can get to it on campus by removing the proxy URL so at least users can call and ask us to send the article they need.

We are receiving a 504 Gateway Timeout error as well, with the error saying:

The proxied resource, www.sciencedirect.com<http://www.sciencedirect.com> is not responding.



What type of proxy does your library use?

I've reported this to Elsevier on Wednesday and they are working on it, but out of curiosity, is anyone else experiencing a 504 gateway timeout with Science Direct?  This has been ongoing for 2 days now. I'm trying to track down the source of the problem, especially if it's at our end. We've had intermittent issues lately with proxied resources. Thanks in advance.
