[Eril-l] Schedulers

We have the same number. The main library uses Shiftboard as well and they have maybe 30 students. We just started using the program. I am not sure how much it costs but it's great. We open up the shifts that are available and the students sign up. If they can't take the shift they can open it up to other students to take. I have done the manual thing and I can relate to the time and effort it takes to make the schedule. Hi Melissa,


We have about 10-15 student workers at our circ desk.  At the beginning of the semester as students change their class schedules, we have to update the schedule continuously for the first month of the semester.  It takes a lot of time to manually figure out how to properly schedule all of them when they are available.

We just use Google Calendar. We have about 15 students at our service desk (formerly Circulation + IT desks, now combined).

What problems are you facing that suggest the need for specialty scheduling software?
