[Eril-l] Frequency of Statistics Gathering

Hullo!

Here at Mount Holyoke College, we use SUSHI where possible to load our
usage statistics into UStat. When SUSHI is unavailable or unreliable, we
get usage statistics for January-December of the previous year from the
publisher and load manually into UStat once a year around February (unless
there is a need for specific usage info earlier).

Given how frequently statistics are amended and reports that claim to be
COUNTER compliant are not, we felt that it wasn't worthwhile to load
statistics more than once a year. Relatedly, I highly recommend the
resources on http://www.usus.org.uk -- especially the compliance testing
and data analysis templates <http://www.usus.org.uk/useful-links/>!

Hope this helps,

-Kate
