[Eril-l] Problem accessing Oxford Journals usage stats

I had this same problem back in August/September when I was trying to pull end of the fiscal year statistics. I submitted a ticket to Oxford and never heard back once I explained the situation. It’s still not working for me and I also get the “this webpage is not available” message.

We are having the same problem too. Updating Java had no effect and it occurs in all 3 browsers.

We haven't had that problem with OUP, but have had a similar one. When we log on at https://access.oxfordjournals.org/oup/login/local.do, we get a "page not found" error. But if we then go back and click the link again, the new page loads, and recognizes us as logged in.

We had asked Customer Service when we were initially encountering errors when trying to log in, but they just gave us the same link (which is how we figured out this weird work around in the first place).

When we try to log in to Oxford Journals usage stats from on our campus network, we get a connection reset (RST in the TCP header) and access fails. Yet if we do it from outside the campus network, access works. OUP says it is not a problem at their end and that no other institution has the problem. Our network people have been unable to find the cause of the problem at our end. It happens in Chrome, Firefox and IE 11. I'm wondering whether it is some unusual incompatibility between something at each end. We have been wrestling with this for 2 months.

Does anyone else have the problem?

We go to http://www.oxfordjournals.org/en/ and click "Sign In / Register", and try to proceed from there.
