[Eril-l] Intermittent EBSCO Errors

Hello Mandi, Yes I am seeing this too while troubleshooting broken links, a little bit last week and definitely today. We have had quite a number of "broken link reports" for Ebsco products this weekend.

I am seeing:
A System Problem has Occurred
We're sorry, your request could not be processed due an internal server error.
To continue with your session, please click here<javascript:history.back();>

When I click 'here' I am taken someplace other than Ebsco.

And I also agree that it happens more frequently with FF. Sometimes what doesn't work on FF works on Chrome.

I just attempted to record what is happening with Jing. I get a different experience it seems each time I attempt to link to Ebsco.

Subject: [Eril-l] Intermittent EBSCO Errors

Hello collective wisdom,

Our on-campus users are experiencing intermittent EBSCO errors. The two common ones seem to be "Application Level Exception" and the ring of EBSCO icons after running a search. These have been occurring seemingly randomly over the past week or so, and I have been unable to duplicate them on my machine. Anecdotally, they seem to be occurring most often in Firefox on both Windows and Mac machines (it has been difficult to get users to report these incidents), and affecting multiple EBSCO resources.

Is anyone else seeing odd behaviour from EBSCO?

Thank you,
Mandi
