[Eril-l] Swank Flex Model Subscription Questions

For any libraries that subscribe to the Swank Flex 50 model, could you answer a few questions:

  *   Do you only swap an individual title once? For example, once a title is swapped do you keep it in your collection for the remaining subscription or would you consider swapping that title later in the subscription period for another title?
  *   Do you add and remove swapped titles in your catalog? If so, could you share your workflow and any public and staff notes you add to the records (e.g., Title available until MM-DD-YYYY, needed for class on MM-DD-YYYY).

We are concerned that faculty may see a Swank title in our catalog, plan on using it in a class (without us knowing that), and then the title isn't available when needed because it was swapped out for another title. Any suggestions for how others are dealing with this purchase model are appreciated.
