[Eril-l] Inquiry: Workarounds for MyEBSCO Account 400 Error

We were able to resolve this same 404 issue in a different way.

The solution was to go into the new EBSCO Experience Manager (the new database admin site which you need to request), selecting our institution (if you manage more than one) and then using these instructions<https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/How-Do-I-Create-URLs-for-My-Institutions-EBSCO-Products?language=en_US> to generate new links for all our EBSCO databases. The new links don’t give the 404 error when patrons try to login to their EBSCO accounts.

Possibly you could ask customer service for new links to your various database too, if you can’t access EBSCO Experience Manager.

Our users seeking to log in to MyEbsco are getting the same 400 error message that Jungmin Byun (UCCS) and Lee Adams (CSU East Bay) mentioned.  Ebsco's tech support suggested updating proxy server configuration stanzas and restarting the EZProxy server.  This was done; it hasn't helped.  Ebsco is now suggesting it is an OCLC issue.


Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?  Error message cut-n-pasted below.
