[Eril-l] [EXTERNAL] Issues downloading JSTOR R5.1 reports manually?

It looks like it is a known issue – I am seeing this message when I go to the 5.1 usage reports page:

I did report it to JSTOR, after waiting over 6 hours for what should've been a small report. It's still unresolved as far as I know. You may want to report it as well. I agree that it's abnormal to wait that long, especially when compared to the R5 reports, which arrive within a few minutes.

I was finally able to download the R5.1 reports this weekend using an incognito window, though I still encountered errors intermittently.

That's a reasonable explanation. I just think, at least for my institution, the report coming through hours later is a big shift from how things typically are. Usually, if I request a report in the admin portal, it takes about 5-10 minutes. The fact that it took 4 hours for it to appear in my inbox is pretty unordinary.

JSTOR requires API harvesters to request a report, but then it queues and you need to come back later, as much as an hour later depending on their server load, to get it.
If they use the same backend server for manual downloads, that might be what's going on. Can you get them hours later or the next day? If not, it's time to call support.

I actually just noticed I'm not able to download 5.1 Reports... they just keep sitting in "pending"....

Hello,

Has anyone else encountered a problem with receiving an 'Unable to load page' error when attempting to manually download COUNTER 5.1 JSTOR usage reports in the JSTOR admin? This happens to me in Incognito mode too.

Their R5 reports run without a problem.
