The following is also announced via a post on the NASIG Blog[1].

A highlight of last month's #NASIG2022 was a vision session presented by Sarah Lamdan on "What Does the Transition from Publishing to Data Analytics Mean for Libraries?"

Lamdan, a professor at CUNY School of Law[2] and a librarian, focuses her research on information law and policy across the spectrum from open government to personal privacy. More recently, Professor Lamdan testified in front of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee as part of a hearing on "Digital Dragnets: Examining the Government's Access to Your Personal Data.”[3]

NASIG is pleased to offer this free recording[4] on our YouTube channel[5], and we hope you take the time to watch Professor Lamdan's thought-provoking presentation, followed by audience Q&A.

Recordings of other #NASIG2022 sessions will be made available at a later date.
