**Apologies for cross posting**

We’re counting the days till this year’s NISO Plus conference
<https://niso.plus/> (February 15-17) — and we hope you are too! If you
haven’t already done so, there’s still time to register
<https://niso.plus/register-for-niso-plus-2022/> and, thanks to our
generous sponsors <https://niso.plus/sponsors/>, we’ve been able to keep
registration costs low for everyone, with extra discounts for NISO members;
groups of five or more; students, early career, and unemployed
professionals; and those who live outside the top 30 International Monetary
Fund GDP countries
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)>.

The NISO Plus program <https://np22.niso.plus/> is now final, and there’s
something for everyone!

Unlike most conferences, at NISO Plus the emphasis is on conversations and
connections. What the speakers share in their presentations and what you have
to say in the discussions following the live screenings are both equally
important — and both are focused on identifying concrete needs and projects
that NISO can work with the community to address. Last year’s conference
resulted in three new initiatives, all of which are now well underway:
Communication
of Retractions, Removals, and Expressions of Concern (CORREC) Recommended
Practice
<http://www.niso.org/press-releases/2021/09/niso-voting-members-approve-work-recommended-practice-retracted-research>;
Controlled DIgital Lending
<https://www.niso.org/press-releases/2021/09/niso-awarded-mellon-funding-controlled-digital-lending-project>;
and Integrating Publisher and Repository Workflows to Improve Research
Data-Article Links
<http://www.niso.org/press-releases/2021/10/niso-announces-new-project-integrate-publisher-and-repository-workflows>.
We’ll be reporting back on these during NISO Plus too!

So please don’t delay — book your place at this year’s conference now
<https://niso.plus/register-for-niso-plus-2022/>, and we hope to see you
there!

With best wishes

The NISO Team
