University of Richmond's Boatwright Memorial Library has three new openings in the Budget, Acquisitions & Discovery division.

Electronic Resource Librarian

Reporting to the Head of Resource Acquisition and Delivery within the division of Budget, Acquisitions & Discovery (BAD), the Electronic Resources (ER) Librarian provides expertise managing the library's collection of electronic resources and the technologies necessary to maintain access to those resources. The ER Librarian develops and streamlines procedures and workflows for electronic resources and serials, including online journals, electronic books, databases, and websites. The ER Librarian manages the complete lifecycle of electronic resources, spanning cataloging/metadata, access, discovery, assessment, reporting, removal/deletion, and problem resolution and monitors trends and best practices in e-resources management discoverability and the user experience.

Special Formats Cataloging Librarian

Reporting to the Head, Library Systems and Metadata Services, within the division of Budget, Acquisitions & Discovery (BAD), the Special Formats Cataloging Librarian works collaboratively to support timely discovery and access for a range of formats and materials, including audiovisual materials, special collections/rare books, and digital collections. Core duties include original and complex copy cataloging and authority control work in accordance with local and national cataloging and metadata standards.

Cataloging and Metadata Associate

Reporting to the Head, Library Systems and Metadata Services within the division of Budget, Acquisitions & Discovery (BAD), the Cataloging and Metadata Associate will support access to and rapid discovery of library materials for students, faculty, staff, and external researchers by performing technical and clerical tasks related to the cataloging, preparation, and disposition of library materials. In addition, this position is responsible for preserving the integrity of the library's catalog through continuous detail-oriented database maintenance work.
