?They do sort of have a pay-per-view option, by purchasing groups of tokens. They are also not cheap. I'd be more interested in notifying our patrons which titles are included in our subscriptions and which ones are not. We have the Academic Collection w/250 tokens, but there's no way to indicate to users which ones we have access to and which will use a token.

Subject: [Eril-l] ACS and pay-per-view - would you be interested?
I have suggested to American Chemical Society adding a pay-per-view option instead of their subscription packages. I'm told they don't offer that option. I'm just wondering, how many schools out there would be interested in a Pay-per-view option of ACS titles? We are a very small school, and the prices for ACS are not sustainable and are very hard to justify outside accreditation requirements. I'm feeling very frustrated actually. Am I the only one??
Venting, and also want to see how many others feel the same way and what you have done to offset the cost.
Thanks
