[Eril-l] Kanopy Streaming Videos - PDA program

First, we're very small, just about 4,200 FTE. That said, in our first
year with the Kanopy DDA, we did not load catalog records for the films,
nor make it particularly visible on our website, but only shared the info
about our account with select faculty who had in the past indicated an
active interest in using videos in their curriculum, including responses to
a faculty-wide survey we conducted about video use in the curriculum that
we did around that same time.
That kept our costs down, in fact too far, so we did finally load the marc
records, and have seen a modest increase, but still affordable for us. But
if you are having the opposite problem, you might consider reducing your
discovery points rather than reducing the actual service coverage.
