[Eril-l] general question re: ERM coverage loads

Just out of curiosity . . .


If your library uses a commercial ERM --


  *   Do you do coverage loads without updating the catalog?
  *   If you do not update your catalog with a coverage load, do you find any issues / problems with this?


I ask for reasons that I can talk about another time if we want to have a philosophical discussion on this. At this time, I'm just truly interested.
