[Eril-l] ScienceDirect issues accessing PDF items

Good morning, All -

Some of you may have noticed a long thread on lis-e-resources at jiscmail.ac.uk<mailto:lis-e-resources at jiscmail.ac.uk> over the last couple of days. Are you able to access PDF content?

My summary of the problem:

I'm being challenged to sign in to download PDF content - the problem even includes downloading an open access PDF via article link: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0045653517307671. This problem is  affecting OpenAthens, Shibboleth and IP authn. I have a ticket: [170803-011742] but no response yet.

HTML access seems okay (on campus). Off campus I noted problems getting our logo to appear via Shibboleth on the evening of Tuesday 1 August and early morning Wednesday 2 August.

ERIL-L is eerily quiet on this topic so I assume other regions may be unaffected. YMMV.
