This is happening way before the password should be expiring.

We were also having this problem until I realized that passwords are set to automatically expire after a certain number of days.

In the EBSCOhost admin area, under EBSCOadmin Security, you can see the active user IDs and when they are set to expire (Password expires in "X" days).

I don't know if there is any kind of notification before passwords expire, so I've started marking my calendar with a reminder to reset the password before the expiration period is up.

So, we thought that maybe too many folks were trying to access usage stats in the Admin account, tripping on the credentials, and possible causing the auto password reset, so we asked EBSCO to set up an admin account profile just for Usage Stats.

Since then (5 months) we haven’t had to have the password reset.  It’s still an experiment in progress.
We also flagged the record to access the admin credentials, with a note stating to enter info carefully.

Yes, we are constantly resetting our EBSCO passwords. It gets pretty frustrating.

Yes! I thought it was just us…. Identical issue. It only happens on and off, so it has been difficult to report. Of course every time I have reported it, support resets the password and it is fine for a short while. I also find I have to use ‘incognito mode’ in Chrome to login to EBSCOadmin after I have logged in the first time with the new password.

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem with EBSCO Admin and ECM passwords.  When trying to log on to our accounts at Ebsco Admin and Ebsco Collection Manager our password is often rejected.  We change the password to something new, are allowed access for about two days and then the next time we try to log in the new password is rejected, forcing us to change it again.  I have contacted Ebsco support but wanted to know if others ran into this difficulty.
