Health Services Librarian
Location: Pennsylvania
Geisinger Health Services (GHS) - Danville seeks a service oriented librarian to provide accurate and timely search and related reference activities in support of research, patient, and other inquiries. Oversees operations and budget for inter-library loans. Trains and supervises Library Specialist. Maintains statistical records, Reports to the Assistant Director, Academic Information. This is a full time position. This position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
Required: Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences including course work in Health Sciences, bibliography, use of data bases, supervision and management. Membership in MLA's Academy of Health Information strongly preferred. Minimum one year's experience in a health related science library.
Salary: Hiring range for Librarian will not exceed $44,242 - $55,286 per annum, based on qualifications. Immediate benefit participation.
