[Eril-l] Extend library e-resource access to retired faculty?

Hi Donna,

We have a category of retired faculty, faculty emeritus.  Faculty emeritus
status is granted after nomination by colleagues and approval by the
Academic Senate and President.  Eligible faculty have worked at the College
over 10 years as full-time faculty members and must also meet other
criteria.  Faculty emeritus status affords all the same privileges as
active faculty, and they are included in our FTE counts when negotiating
database licenses. We are attempting to define a similar nomination and
approval process for selected retired staff.

We are also providing alumni access to a selection of databases, with
funding support from the Alumni Office, including the Vault Career database.
