The Interpretations of Authorized User Language in Library Licensing Survey

Greetings!

Do you work with licensing electronic resources?  Do you also work as
either a librarian, vendor, or in another library role?  If this describes
you, this survey would like to investigate how you interpret some
authorized user licensing language at your institution.
What is this research study about?

The purpose of this research study is to investigate the differences and
similarities of how authorized user licensing terms are interpreted.  We
will compare vendor and librarian results as well as results based on
institution type.
Who should participate.

For this survey we will focus on academic libraries, consortia, and
electronic resources vendors in North America.  We are looking for
respondents who are 18 years of age or older.  Participants should work
with or be aware of how their institution interprets licensing terms.
How long will this survey take?

This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.  You may end
the survey at any time.
Other Information.

No identifying information will be collected during this survey.  You may
end this survey at any time without penalty.  Participants will not be
compensated.  This survey will close on June 15th, 2026.  To take this
survey, you must agree to the consent form.
