Please share with people in your area. This is a unique conference opportunity focused on library staff in all positions. We hope to see you in Nashville (the ice will have melted by May)!

We are excited to announce that the Southern Library Support Staff Conference will be held on May 27-29, 2026, at Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee. This year's theme, "From the Heart of the Library: Stories of Engagement, Innovation, and Leadership," invites library professionals at all stages of their careers to delve into personal narratives that highlight the transformative power of libraries in their communities.

Conference Details:
* Main conference on Wednesday, May 27th, and Thursday, May 28th
* Excursions/tours around Nashville on Friday, May 29th
* Registration will open February 2, 2026

Proposal Submission OPEN NOW! We welcome your ideas for conference presentations. Please submit via the proposal submission form.

Scholarships Available! Through a generous grant from the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program, a limited number of scholarships are available for first-time attendees. Please visit the scholarship information page to view eligibility requirements and apply.
