Description

Mentorships offer an opportunity for skill development, networking and professional growth. This panel session will discuss the variety of reasons why a graduate student or early career professional may want to have a mentor as well as strategies for how to get the most out of a mentoring relationship. Panelists include previous and current mentor and mentee participants of the NASIG Mentoring Program.



Attendees will learn:



  *   Why you might need a mentor
  *   What a successful mentoring relationship can look like
  *   Ways to be a proactive mentee
  *   Different mentorship styles and experiences
  *   How the NASIG Mentoring Program works and benefits it offers to participants
