This webinar will address the critical issues of data ownership and
Indigenous sovereignty in the digital age. Join us to explore how data
governance frameworks are evolving to respect the rights of Indigenous
communities and learn what steps can be taken to ensure ethical and
equitable data use. The discussions will center the voices and perspectives
of Indigenous leaders in this important conversation.

new policies, or supporting researchers and staff, the series will provide
context and examples to move forward with insight and confidence.

Over eight weeks, the program covers a wide range of timely topics:

   The growing use of AI in core workflows like metadata enrichment and
