I’d be very interested in that.

Good morning all

I would love to collaborate with libraries to encourage more non-compliant publishers to offer proper COUNTER reporting. As I've said in most of my webinars, as customers the power lies in your hands. Would this group be open to working together to identify , prioritise and approach non-compliant publishers?

All the best

Tasha

I support and encourage flexible working. I cover COUNTER for 20 hours per week, and my emails may therefore be sent at odd times. I understand that you will respond during the hours that you work.

Kudos Lynne. Your work with WestLaw is impressive and underscores the effort required for normalizing usage data across COUNTER and non-COUNTER compliant content providers.

We found the integration of WestLaw usage stats into the CELUS platform a bit challenging as well. Our approach is to use the “Monthly usage by category #2” sheet of the WestLaw usage report. By treating the categories as proxy titles and collecting the “Total usage” per month, we are able to compare WestLaw usage with other resources such as "Site Views" from BloombergLaw or "Online Usage" from LexisPlus.

Since the number of non-COUNTER compliant providers is well over 100, I thought that followers of this thread might appreciate our open KnoweldgeBase<https://support.celus.net/support/solutions/folders/103000394714> of metric mappings. There is a distinct entry in the KnoweldgeBase for each non-COUNTER compliant provider, which contains a sample spreadsheet that helps our subscribers format their data for proper inclusion into CELUS.
