In a new report released today - Publishing futures: Working together to deliver radical change in academic publishing<https://cup.org/3KSaUrR> - Cambridge University Press calls for urgent, collective action to ensure academic publishing becomes more open, equitable and sustainable.
The report found that without urgent, sector-wide reform, the global academic publishing ecosystem is at risk of collapsing due to the strain currently placed on it by existing and future challenges.
