Us as well (...and many other Ontario colleges). Most recently, nine days ago. It took three days for them to restore it. Also, back in December and in November.

Hi Nancy,

We have had this problem persistently for the past several months on and off. It has been frustrating to deal with, especially since it seems to happen whenever an assignment is due.

Every time it has happened we asked our consortia to contact Statista and it's back up within a day or so. I wish I knew a way to fix it on our end, but it seems like we have to ask Statista to check our IP addresses are configured correctly.

Best of luck fixing it at U Buffalo!

Regards,
Alie

Many of our users are running into erratic but persistent problems logging in to Statista from off campus, via EZProxy / Shibboleth authentication. Instead of logging them in, they are taken to the public access page without any login; they do not see our University welcome message but instead the “Prices & Access” dropdown, and they get a paywall for any content they try to access. On campus, authenticated via campus IP range, everything seems fine. Since the problem seems to be only off campus, we’re investigating EZProxy as well, but I wondered if anyone on this list might have encountered or currently be encountering Statista access problems and have any suggestions to share.

So far the reports have been only in Chrome and more recently Edge, and none of the usual troubleshooting tips have resolved the issue. I haven’t been able to replicate the problem in any browser in Windows or Mac, but that is so often the case!

I’d welcome any suggestions,

--Nancy
