[Eril-l] Ebook Central Reader App Upgrade - download issues?

I can't replicate that issue at the moment. Downloaded books seem to show up right away. I've only tried Windows so far, though.

Thank you both for your replies.
Ryan, that did the trick! I agree on changing the file format, it's an additional hurdle to use this.
I'm glad I can access the app from a Windows device now, but still no books. Did you notice that it took time to sync downloaded titles from Ebook Central to the app after you installed it? This is the same issue I'm having with my Android device - access with no material.

Hi Genesis,
We switched yesterday and I had issues installing to my Windows computer, still waiting for feedback from other staff. I was unfamiliar with .msix files and my initial searches for how to run them all lead to this Microsoft page<https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/app-installer/install-update-app-installer> which offers a download that is also an .msix file. This page for App Installer<https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh4nns1?hl=en-US&gl=US> did the trick, though. I opened a case asking if they could switch to an .exe so we wouldn't have to write up help pages for this hurdle. Once installed, it seems to work ok.
I'll be testing Android today so not great to hear there are problems there as well.

Morning all,
To those who have already chosen to upgrade to the new ProQuest Ebook Central Reader App this week or before: is anyone having issues actually downloading the app to Windows devices, or seeing any books in your bookshelf in the app on Android? If anyone has been successful using this app, I'd like to know, too.
I've already put in a case with PQ/Ex Libris, but I'm wondering if this is an isolated issue or not. I've tried a workstation, two library computers, and a home computer. I am having a hard time imagining this is an error on our side.
