MONTHLY WEBINAR SERIES | FREE TO NISO MEMBERS

Secrets to Changing Behavior in Scholarly Communication
<https://niso.org/events/secrets-changing-behaviour-scholarly-communication>

Wednesday, March 5, 11:00 am–12:00 pm ET (US/Canada)

Join us to reflect on how, in the worldwide academic and research
community, we can be more effective in engaging stakeholders in doing
things differently. Whether it’s publishing online rather than in print,
investing in open infrastructure, engaging with a data repository, or one
of many more initiatives to improve the state of scholarly communication,
the speakers will argue that marketing—which draws skepticism from many
corners in our community—can increase the impact of every initiative and
lead to sustained behaviour change. This webinar will explore how marketing
has been adapted to serve the public and academic sectors, opportunities to
better leverage marketing strategies in scholarly communication, and ways
to work smarter today.
