Hi all,

We’re seeking survey respondents for a research study on libraries’
experiences with transformative/read-and-publish agreements. The purpose of
this research study is to identify common concerns regarding the
implementation and management of transformative agreements, explore the
financial implications and the staffing levels and expertise required for
effective management of these agreements, and uncover innovative strategies
and solutions adopted by institutions to mitigate challenges associated
with transformative agreements.

The findings from the survey will be used in a conference presentation and
subsequent research article on library experiences with transformative
agreements.

We anticipate that the survey will take no more than 15 minutes with mostly
multiple choice questions with some opportunities for open ended responses.
The survey will be open until

Friday, November 1, 2024.

Please review the Informed Consent on the first page of the survey, which
provides details about our research project, your rights as a participant,
and options to complete the survey.

Thank you for considering! Please reach out to
kimberly.kennedy at stonybrook.edu with any questions or concerns.
