[Eril-l] Should we take the MLA (Modern Library Awards) awards seriously?

Hi, all.

I just saw the 2024 MLA<https://www.modernlibraryawards.com/> (not the MLA Bibliography people, an entirely different group) "Awards" announcement.
Their brochure of their winners, https://www.modernlibraryawards.com/_files/ugd/86e7f7_3c3b92e2bdd2458bb3dd6d38e1b23f1d.pdf
is full of what looks like industry ads.
Should I take this seriously, for instance asking our management team to look at the winners as products we should take a closer look at because of winning this award?
