We have also been in discussions with ProQuest.
They have sent us all of the data and we are considering how to proceed perhaps with a search interface, but I know our team isn’t going to start until summer.
We asked for a license/formal permission from them and they said we could just make the records say: “This record is made available under a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC 4.0 license by ProQuest LLC, a part of Clarivate.”
I hope your conversation goes well!!! (Then we don’t have to try to parse this data!)

Hi Jen,
We relayed our concerns to Proquest after our Gov Docs Librarian was worried about imminent loss of this resource (which we don't have the capacity to host ourselves). We asked Proquest to continue hosting the resource.
We've had some back and forth, and have been trying to meet with them to discuss.
The email I received today (after I asked for an update) said they'd get back to us later this week.
Not sure what will happen but we haven't given up hope yet.
I hope that helps.

With the upcoming retirement of Proquest’s Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications, I was wondering what other ER librarians serving in federal depositories are doing. Our fed docs librarian uses this product regularly, and wants to still be able to search the material. From what she has told me, a lot of other depository librarians are in the same boat. I’m a little later getting to this than I’d like to be (thanks to COVID and subsequent brain fog for the first couple of months of the year).
Long story short: don’t want to reinvent the wheel if others are already working on ways to make this content accessible post-retirement.
Thanks!
