The University of Kansas Medical Center, A.R. Dykes Library, is seeking a Head of Research and Learning. The Head of Research and Learning manages and participates in the research and instructional services provided by librarian liaisons to the faculty, staff and students of the Schools of Health Professions, Medicine and Nursing. The management of research and learning programming strategically aims to increase researcher success and educate exceptional health care professionals for the provision of quality patient care. The Head of Research and Learning supervises the librarian liaisons of the Schools of Health Professions, Medicine, and Nursing.

The Head of Research and Learning possess strong knowledge of and experience with using resources and tools designed for health literacy instruction and for conducting research support for faculty, staff and students. The selected candidate is team-oriented, provides professional coaching and exhibits professional leadership for the benefit of KUMC faculty, staff and students. Salary range is $65,000 - $70,000.
