[Eril-l] Registration for the 2023 NISO Plus Forum Is Now Open!

We’re delighted to announce that registration is now open

for our second NISO Plus Forum <https://niso.plus/forum/>, an onsite,
workshop-style event in which attendees will explore areas of common
concern to the information community. With thanks to the American
Geophysical Union <https://www.agu.org/> for their support, this year’s
Forum will be held at the AGU headquarters in Washington, DC, on Tuesday,
October 3, 2023.

The theme of this year’s event is AI & Machine Learning in Scholarly
Publishing: Services, Data, and Ethics. It’s intended for information
professionals across all functions and organization types who have an
interest in AI & machine learning, as well as the seniority and functional
expertise to understand the challenges and opportunities for both their
organization and the wider community. As in 2022, our format will be
organized around “World Cafe” discussions, with the focus primarily on
practical work in small groups to help shape the NISO Plus conference and
NISO’s standards development priorities more generally. It’s a great
opportunity to share your perspectives with a diverse group of colleagues
from across the information industry, and to better understand theirs.

nature of this event, registrations will be strictly limited to 100
