[Eril-l] Now Live: Oxford Academic Product Migration

Dear OUP customer,

We are pleased to announce that as of today, Oxford University Press’s (OUP) major research book collections have moved to the Oxford Academic<https://academic.oup.com/> platform.

This means that books from Oxford Scholarship Online<https://oxford.universitypressscholarship.com/>, University Press Scholarship Online<https://www.universitypressscholarship.com/>, Oxford Handbooks Online<https://www.oxfordhandbooks.com/>, Very Short Introductions<https://www.veryshortintroductions.com/>, Oxford Medicine Online<https://oxfordmedicine.com/>, Oxford Clinical Psychology<https://www.oxfordclinicalpsych.com/>, and the AMA Manual of Style<https://www.amamanualofstyle.com/> now sit alongside journals in a single place for the first time.

New: Latest Updates for checklist and FAQs
We have added some information to the top of our checklist and frequently asked questions document<https://fdslive.oup.com/www.oup.com/academic/pdf/librarian/OxAc_Migration_Checklist_and_FAQ.pdf> that details the latest news on this migration. Please review this information to keep informed of recent developments.

Please be advised that we are still migrating some email addresses into our account management systems over the next few days. If you are unable to login as an administrator but are not having any other issues or problems with access, please know that no action is required. We expect all information to be migrated in the coming days.

Why we made this change
We are making these changes to ensure that you and your patrons can find, manage, and use content as efficiently as possible. The Oxford Academic platform will provide the following benefits:


  *   Superior discoverability, functionality, and accessibility developed to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
  *   Improved and simplified research journey with OUP content available in a single, consistent, cross-searchable location​
  *   A single admin portal for more efficient access management

Today also begins our period of dual running for the following migrating products. During this time, you may explore and familiarize yourself with Oxford Academic before redirects go into place on the relevant dates listed below. After these dates, the content will no longer be available on the current product sites.
