Lycoming College seeks innovative and collaborative applicants for the position of Instructional Services Librarian & Coordinator of Web and Reference Services for Snowden Library.  This position provides professional information literacy instruction and reference services to the students, faculty, and staff of Lycoming College.  Primary responsibilities include supervision of the library website, user experience with databases including troubleshooting usability and access issues, maintenance of the discovery service, supervision of reference services, and participation in assessment and outreach projects.  Some evening and weekend work is required.  Library faculty are active scholars, participating members in regional and national professional organizations and conferences, and contribute to campus governance and committee service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
*     Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited graduate school required.
*     Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching in an instructional program and a familiarity with electronic and traditional information sources.
*     Thorough knowledge of HTML with a basic understanding of CSS and JavaScript.
*     Knowledge of reference work.
*     Established organizational patterns; excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse constituencies; strong communication skills (both oral and written); and the ability to work independently with good judgement but also work as part of a team.
*     Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn various specialized software applications.
*     Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace or community.
*     Experience in public and learning services assessment is preferred.
