Thank you for your responses. While we were told that campus-wide access would not be allowed, it sounds like other institutions are maintaining IP authentication or going through Open Athens. Thus far, AHA does not seem agreeable with signing a license with us, which is concerning since their stock license does not have a definition for Authorized Users and the pricing refers to a specific number of users. If anyone has been able to negotiate a license with AHA this year, I would love to hear about your experience.

We ended up cancelling ours as the price was too steep.  The previous tech support was never responsive enough, and zero telephone contact information.

I believe that has improved but I was not aware that IP authentication was removed?  That was how we were still using the product as of this month.  At our hospital, most units have paper copies so it was more of a bonus in our situation to have the eBooks.

We received notice earlier this year that the American Heart Association (AHA) ebooks are no longer being sold through Impelsys and that pricing is moving to a per user access, so campus-wide access through IP authentication is no longer available. The pricing for this is also much higher than what we were previously paying.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you found a way to work with the AHA or did your library cancel this subscription? We have had several conversations with AHA at this point, but have not made any progress. Any input you have would be greatly appreciated.
