To follow up. Yes, users can be authorized through the Universities Panopto subscription because it is linked to Blackboard. What we are trying to figure out is how to make the video's available to our walk in users. Our public computers still go through the proxy but those IP addresses are set to auto login.

Good Afternoon,

We are working on finding a solution for hosting streaming video that have purchased perpetual access but not on its own platform. This would be video's where we might have a link to Vimeo or are just sent the files to host ourselves.

Has anyone ever used Panopto to provide access? If so, how did you handle authentication/proxy?

Does anyone else use a different way to handle these types of streaming titles?
