[Eril-l] Streaming Video Hosting

Our campus uses Panopto and as far as I am aware, the authentication/proxy issue is addressed by the fact that anything available in it is accessible only through our learning management system, which has its own authentication setup.

We are working on finding a solution for hosting streaming video that have purchased perpetual access but not on its own platform. This would be video’s where we might have a link to Vimeo or are just sent the files to host ourselves.

Has anyone ever used Panopto to provide access? If so, how did you handle authentication/proxy?

Does anyone else use a different way to handle these types of streaming titles?
