The Texas State Library and Archives Commission is looking for a
coordinator for the TexShare Consortium and its programs, particularly the
TexShare Databases program.

TexShare is a consortium of almost 700 public, academic, and special
libraries in Texas. This position will provide the successful applicant
with an opportunity to work with librarians all over Texas, using their
outreach skills to promote the largest e-resource program in the state, and
making a statewide impact!

TexShare is administered by TSLAC with the support of TexShare member
institutions. Almost every 2-year and 4-year academic library is a member,
along with every accredited public library and many medical and special
libraries. Members are represented on the TexShare Advisory Board and other
Working Groups that provide program input and expertise. Information about
the TexShare Consortium is available at
www.tsl.texas.gov/texshare/index.html.

The TexShare Program Coordinator will work with a team at TSLAC to plan,
develop, and provide outreach to program members, manage meetings of the
Advisory Board and Working Groups, and work with e-resource vendors and
other TSLAC staff to provide training on use of TexShare electronic
resources to librarians. The full position description and application are
available at
https://capps.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job=00016654

The opening has been extended to September 20, so if you're interested,
please don't delay! If you have any questions about applying, please
