Webinar Title:  Student Views on Learning During the Pandemic

Description:  Many online events since March 2020 have focused on adaptations made by libraries and librarians to pandemic conditions. Now the spotlight will be on undergraduate and graduate students and their perspectives on learning and experiences with information resources during this recent period. Two students from the US and two students from Europe will respond to questions about the pros and cons of different teaching and study methods, their use of digital and other types of resources, and their overall sense of learning success during the pandemic. Different shades of remote and hybrid learning will be explored and compared to pre-pandemic experiences. Differences and similarities between undergraduate and graduate, and US and European experiences will be shared. Mental health and coping mechanisms are on the table. Exact names of schools will be left out of the conversation, though students will be asked to explain about their geographic region and program of study. Join us for this open and frank discussion of learning during the pandemic from the viewpoint of the learners themselves.
