[Eril-l] Access to Elsevier sites

We are having difficulties in accessing full-text in ScienceDirect but it appears to be more a timing issue than an access issue. It took over 30 seconds in Chrome and almost 3 minutes in Firefox for the entire article webpage to load. That includes the Outline, any Figures, Recommended articles, Citing articles, etc. Until they loaded, I could not use the Download PDF link.

We seem to have lost access to most (all?) Elsevier sites. This includes ScienceDirect, Scopus and ClinicalKey. With ScienceDirect we are asked for a login when we attempt to view articles/chapters. With Scopus we are asked to check our access.



I have contacted Elsevier but I'm wondering if other institutions are having problems accessing Elsevier sites.
