[Eril-l] Washington Post institutional subscription?

Hi Diane,
We started a subscription to WaPo last May and I believe
the EnterpriseSolutions at WashPost.com email is good to start with. I have a
few specific contacts there as well who we have worked with at different
stages this year if you need.

Overall, we have been happy with access and the responsiveness to support
requests. Here are some things to consider that we learned along the way:

   - At the time, the WaPo subscription was only provided via proxy access
(I assume this is still the case?). Be sure to use the most recent stanza
if you are using EZ proxy as an outdated stanza can result in issues with
how the stylesheet renders on the site.
   - In recent years, we have also added direct access to NY TImes and Wall
Street Journal which both require users to create individual accounts for
access, and do not use proxy. This has created some confusion on campus
over how to access these newspaper sources with different access methods.
In our initial message announcing the subscription, we highlighted how
access methods differed for each source, which helped with some of the
confusion. If anything, it was useful to promote existing subscriptions
with this announcement, particularly at a time when access to news is so
   important.

Happy to answer any other questions if you have any.

Best,
Nancy
