[Eril-l] EndNote's "Find Full Text" feature

We use EBSCO's Full Text Finder link resolver. I've read some aren't compatible, but haven't seen FTF specifically mentioned.
I think part of the frustration on the user's is FTF does not pull the PDF for upload, rather it generates an "OpenURL link" option. That link takes them to our Full Text Finder results page (which no one likes) rather than the PDF. So it'll get them there, it's just not nearly as convenient.

What OpenURL resolver are you using for EndNote? If you are using Alma's with Primo NUI or VE, it doesn't work.
Also, does the user have the authentication URL in the settings?
Also, is the user authenticating before running the Find Full Text feature?
I don't use EndNote regularly; but these are all points I had problems with when we moved from SerialsSolutions to Alma/PrimoVE.
Thanks,
Lesli

Hi all,
Does anyone have experience with the desktop version of EndNote? I've been asked for help setting up the "Find Full Text" feature for a user, who says in the past he used it to successfully download PDFs for all of his citations, but now he can only successfully download half. He's currently working off-campus and the citations are from various chemistry journals (from ACS, Nature, Wiley, among others).
Does the feature not work as well off campus access? Or has it often been hit-or-miss in your experience?
Thanks,
Seth
