Buddy, Theresa, et al.,

No, because we have implemented an on-demand scanning service for our entire print collection so that students/faculty/staff can request a portion to be emailed to them if desired, with priority given to faculty needing something for supporting their switch to online courses.

Interesting idea. Since about a year ago we've had our default search in our Primo discovery set to what is available full-text online or in print at our library. Before the emergency we had already noticed a large drop in ILL requests. Very few people seem to be checking the "Expand Results Beyond Dickinson's Collection" post-search option. I should note that we are an undergraduate-only institution.

Of course, now we cannot get to our print collection, but we do have large online packages of unlimited ebooks.

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone is limiting their discovery service to full-text only during this time when libraries are generally closed and ILL is not really an option. With so much going on right now, we haven’t even thought about this one but it came up today.
