Science Partner Journal Research to be indexed in Inspec

We’re pleased to announce that Science Partner Journal (SPJ), Research has been accepted for inclusion into our research database, Inspec.

Research is the journal of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and is published in collaboration with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Launched in 2018, Research is the first Science Partner Journal, a programme that connects respected research institutions to the global scientific community.

The multidisciplinary Open Access journal covers content reflecting discoveries and issues in engineering and applied sciences. Research was evaluated and accepted by the Inspec content selection team, meeting criteria based on relevance, scope and quality.

Katharine Hancox, Content Development Manager at the IET, said: “We are pleased to announce the inclusion of SPJ’s Research into the Inspec database. Its coverage of engineering and applied sciences is a valuable addition to the database. Our unique, article-level indexing will allow researchers to find the content most relevant to their field of study quickly and, as an open access journal, researchers will benefit from immediate access to the full articles.”

Research joins over 4,400 international journals in Inspec, selected for their specific relevance to the fields of engineering and science. As part of the Inspec database, the journal’s content will be discoverable to a global audience of research universities, corporate research teams, governments and patent offices. The journal is also indexed in CAS, CNKI, CSCD, ESCI, DOAJ, PMC and Scopus.
