Saint Louis University’s Pius XII Memorial Library is hiring an Electronic Resources and Social Sciences Librarian. This is a full-time (12-month), non-tenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include managing the Saint Louis University Libraries’ electronic resources and serving as a subject librarian for social science subjects and academic departments.


Required Qualifications:

  *   Master’s degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association (or the appropriate national body of another country).

  *   Library or consortium experience in the management of electronic resources.

  *   Knowledge of information sources related to social sciences research and an understanding of the information needs of social sciences faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students.

  *   Demonstrated positive public service orientation, evidence of strong organizational abilities and teamwork skills, effective oral/written communication skills, well-developed research skills, and a commitment to professional growth.
