Colleagues -

We’ve begun recruiting for an Electronic and Educational Resources
Librarian here at Buffalo State College. The person in this role will
contribute to the management of the library’s e-resources and will also
support the library’s efforts to increase equitable access to learning
materials (through open educational resources, emerging textbook provision
models, and deeper integration of library resources into the curriculum).
It’s a tenure-track faculty librarian position.

If you are eager to work in a supportive team setting where you’ll be
encouraged to innovate workflows and explore ways the library can
positively impact the campus, please check out the position description
here: https://library.buffalostate.edu/home/employment.

A little about us: Buffalo State College, the largest comprehensive college
in SUNY, is located in the heart of Buffalo’s cultural district and we take
pride in serving as an anchor institution in the community. There are about
30 librarians and staff members in Butler Library and this spring we’ll see
the completion of a major library renovation project (more info here:
http://1300elmwood.buffalostate.edu/winter-2019/next-gen-library). We’re
committed to promoting a culturally diverse workplace that embraces diverse
perspectives, identities and talents.

Application deadline is October 30. Happy to answer any questions about
this position. Apologies for any duplication of this message – trying get
the word out broadly.

Thanks! Charles
